Karrot protocol is launching on ETH mainnet.
Once you have your ETH ready and the contract for $KARROT, you will have just to swap eth for $KARROT on
Your $KARROT will start to debase from the moment you purchase them - for example, if the debase rate is 9% per day, you will own 9% less $KARROT after 24h.
Put them in the Full protek vault to completely stop the debase.
Every block (around 12 seconds) $KARROT supply will debase, but you may notice that your $KARROT supply is not going down every 12s, why?
Debase is calculated based on the number of blocks completed since the last debase and it will be triggered once someone claims or compounds his rewards on the vaults.
Example: Considering that the debase for 24 hours is around 9% - if none claims or compounds for 1 day, the 9% debase will happen all at the same time once someone triggers it.
No, rewards will only start to debase after you claim them, rewards are "minted" at the moment you claim them, that's why they don't debase there, they technically do not exist yet.
Whenever you claim rewards/compound or re-deposit tokens in any vault, the lock timer will reset. (24h for Big and Smol vault, 4 days for full).
Nothing changes at the end of the locking period, it simply means you can withdraw from the vault whenever you like.
APR depends on the % of the pool, the price of the $KARROT, and a constant parameter set by the dev (rewards per block).
No, $Rabbit is a soul-bond token and is not sellable or transferable. It's only used for the core game mechanics.
No, there is only a limited amount of $RABBIT that can be minted per day, you also cannot hold more than 3 $RABBITs per wallet. A re-roll feature is available if you are unhappy with the rarity of your little $KARROT thief.
The amount stolen is the total amount of $KARROT in the pool at the end of the epoch (24h) divided by the number of successful $RABBIT attacks multiplied by the $RABBIT rarity multiplier
We canβt guarantee always the same ROI for the $RABBIT because the amount of $KARROTs available on the pool depends on the unprotected total claimed rewards, but the team will always try to make $Rabbit profitable using the taxes to make buyback of $KARROT to fill the pools and keeping Rabbit supply under control to make it as profitable as possible.
$KARROT is a quite complicated protocol, it has more than 9 contracts, a debase mechanism, and a minting function for vaults (rewards), some of them must be adjustable and controlled by the dev, thus showing "red lights" in the most commonly used bot.
Debase and rewards are slightly higher: 9% daily and 13M per block (12s vs 15s block Arb).
The RNG regarding the "Vaults" was deleted for simplicity of development and for the user, now there is a flat tax of 25% for all the claims that are not protekd by the FULL Vault.
We use different RNG mechanisms, the txns involving RNG (Minting $RABBIT and $RABBIT attacks) don't require anymore higher gas fee costs than normal txns.
To avoid possible exploits, re-roll feature is available only on $RABBIT that never attacked. Don't worry, if a $Rabbit dies, you will still be able to claim the $Karrot stolen by it.
